Lomax Media can duplicate albums, singles, and cassettes to CD. We use high quality replay equipment and capture the tracks to computer. Once in the computer we utilise software to enhance the quality where required. The only requirement to conform with copyright requirements is that the recordings supplied to us are either the original recording, not a copy, or that the author of the music has given permission to copy the recording

In general, most albums can be copies for just $25 per album.

General information
We copy most audio formats including
  • 12 vinyls
  • Single 45s
  • Audio cassettes and micro cassettes.

And many formats in between, If we are unable to help, we can source someone who can.

As we digitise your records, most defects often heard on home record players are almost nonexistent. If the digitised image of your record still has clicks, pops and crackles, we are able to use our software to minimise or even eliminate these.

Copyright
If you own the original recording or image, and you can present that to us, we are entitled to make one, and only one, copy of the original item for your personal use. If the original item cannot be provided, we WILL not copy it. The copy we make is covered by the original article's copyright agreement - which means you are specifically not permitted to copy it further, publish it, or broadcast it in any way in contravention of the original copyright.

What this means is that by law, we can make one, and only one, permanent copy of an original item, and we then remove any other intermediate or working image permanently from our system and we provide that item and it's digital replica back to you. If you break or lose the copy we provide to you, you must furnish us with the original again in order for us to recover and recreate the digital copy.

In addition, the copy we provide to you has all legal copyright mechanisms intact, and is labelled as a legitimate copy made for you and only you. This means that some player mechanisms may be unable to play the copy - in which case, unless we've made a mistake in the recovery or mastering process, you may need to use a different player.

We do not keep any copy of any client data on any of our systems .
